A tornado warning has been issued for the surrounding area. Students, faculty and staff have been taken to our tornado safe shelters. Parents wishing to check their student out during this time will need to pick up at the following locations: Preschool and elementary-Tornando safe room located beside the early childhood building. Middle school and high school-Back of the High School gymnasium.

Due to the weather forecast, today’s softball games will be rescheduled for a later date. Reschedule date will be announced once a date is determined.
Cedar Ridge is closely monitoring the severe weather as it moves across the state this afternoon. In order to keep our students and staff safe, we will move all staff and students to the campus safe room or gym basement if the need arises. If there is an active tornado warning for independence county at time of dismissal, we will hold students in safe rooms until the warning is lifted. Thank you for trusting us with your children, and know that we will keep you updated when necessary throughout the day.
