Cedar Ridge will host two Jr. High District tournament games on Saturday, February 6th. The Jr. Girls will play at 1:00 pm followed by the Jr. Boys game. Both teams will play White County Central. Tickets will be sold at the gate.
The elementary basketball games scheduled for Saturday, February 6th and Monday, February 8th have been cancelled. The McCrory games that were cancelled last Saturday will be made up on Saturday, February 20th.
The basketball games scheduled for Friday, February 5th at Timbo have been cancelled.
Valentine's Day: Due to COVID guidelines this year, Cedar Ridge will not be accepting any outside orders of flowers, balloons, etc.
Elementary classrooms will have Valentine treats on Feb. 11. The students will also have their sweetest day treats in their classroom, but will not exchange Valentine cards or prepare Valentine bags and/or boxes. Teachers will notify parents concerning pre-packaged treats for the celebration on Feb. 11 in the individual classrooms. We will still be following the protocol of no parents in the building except for special conferences.

The order of games and times for the Saturday, January 23rd basketball games at Melbourne has changed. The Jr. Boys game has been cancelled. The Games will start at 5:30, and will be played as follows: Sr. Boys, Jr. Girls & Sr. girls.
Melbourne is not requiring vouchers for Saturday’s ballgames you will just pay at the gate.

Admittance will not be granted without a voucher. Vouchers can be picked up from Jennifer Copeland in the administration office.

Players Ticket Vouchers for the Tuesday, Jan. 12th basketball games at Tuckerman are now available. Each player that is playing this night is allotted up to four (4) vouchers. Parents, you will only receive vouchers to attend your child’s game. After your child’s game is over you MUST exit the gym to allow parents of the next game to enter. Parents of games 2, 3 & 4 will not be able to enter the gym until the start time of those games. AAA pass holders MUST have a voucher to attend. Mandatory MAP testing for Blended Students: *Grades 6-1--Monday, January 11th. High School Cafeteria from 8:00-11:00a.m. *Grades K-5 --Tuesday, January 12th. Elementary Cafeteria from 8:00-11:00a.m. All blended students need to come to their building cafeteria with their charged chromebook ready to test on designated testing day.
Beginning January 4, 2021 (second semester), students will no longer be allowed to pivot back and forth daily and/or weekly between on-site and blended instruction. Students will remain in their chosen instruction model for a full grading period, approximately 9 weeks. If a student’s chosen instruction model is on-site and he/she is quarantined, that student will be allowed to pivot to virtual instruction for the required time of the quarantine period and will return to on-site instruction as soon as the quarantine period is over.
Virtual Fridays will continue through the second semester.

Due to teacher quarantine, all Cedar Ridge Kindergarten classes will pivot to virtual instruction this week starting tomorrow, Monday, December 7th. Kindergarten students will return to on-campus instruction on Monday, December 14th.

If there will be no change to the student’s current instruction model, there is no need to contact the school.
Students who are currently enrolled in blended learning are strongly encouraged to pivot to the on-site instruction model if the student’s grade(s) equal D’s or F’s.
