Accepting Bids for Lawn Care Services

The Cedar Ridge School District is accepting competitive bids for Lawn Care Services. All bids shall be submitted to Cori Finnie at 1502 North Hill St. Newark, AR 72562 or emailed to cori.finnie@cedarwolves.org.

  • Bids are due May 30, 2026 by 4:00pm.

  • Applicants must be insured - proof of insurance shall be included with the bid

  • Applicants must provide background checks on all employees that will be on campus - this shall be provided before work starts. Failure to provide background checks will result in the forfeiture of the contract.

  • The bid should be figured per week (generally this equates to (1) mowing per week)

  • The District should be invoiced monthly

  • Payment will be provided within thirty (30) days of receiving the invoice.

  • Please include the number of employees that will be provided for the work in your bid response.

  • If a site visit shall be required to submit a bid, please contact Mitchell Henderson at 870-201-2577 ext. 0255 to schedule the visit.

  • The winning bidder will be notified by mail or email.

Locations

  • Cedar Ridge Campuses, Newark - High School, Agri Building, Elementary, Preschool

  • Agri Barns - around and behind Agri building and barns

  • Baseball Fields, Newark (off season)

  • Softball Field, Newark (off season)

  • Football Fields, Newark

  • Cord Charlotte Baseball Fields

  • Nature Trail - spray weeds and pick up limbs (both sides of the road)

Duration

  • WEEKLY Lawn Care

  • 12 months starting July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027 (Yearly Contract)

Lawn Care Services to be provided

  • Mowing and Weed eating around all buildings, landscaping, light poles, signs, etc.

  • Edging (all sidewalks, curbs, etc.)

  • Blowing off curbs, sidewalks, and parking lots

  • Spraying Roundup and MSMA weed killer yearly. School district will pay for all chemicals.

  • Litter pickup (limbs and trash before mowing()

  • Hedge trimming as needed

  • During off-season cut trees and limbs, clean up and burn brush piles in nature trail and other wooded areas on campus.

The District reserves the right to reject all bids. Bids shall be awarded after careful examination of the details of the bid to determine the best overall value to the District.
