On Friday, November 8 at 9 a.m., Cedar Ridge High School will host a Veterans Day Assembly in the high school gymnasium. All area veterans and their families are invited to attend the assembly and will have special seating provided for them on the gym floor.
The event will feature choral, band, and solo performances and poetry readings.
No RSVP is required for veterans or families, but the high school would like to honor those in attendance, so family members may submit names of veterans for recognition by emailing high school librarian Katherine Higginbottom at katherine.higginbottom@cedarwolves.org.
Following the assembly, the high school will host a luncheon for veterans and their families.
