Today we are celebrating Mrs. Paula Osborne! Mrs. Osborne is currently the Dyslexia Therapist for Cedar Ridge School District. She started her career at Cedar Ridge back in 1981 as a 1st grade teacher, and taught 2nd and 3rd grade before training in a program called Reading Therapy.
"After age 50, I went back to school and acquired my National Board Certification in Literacy, a Master's Degree in Theory and Practice, became a Certified Academic Language Therapist, and a Certified Dyslexia Therapist. They say you are never too old to learn and I can honestly say that I am proof of that. I continue to learn from my students daily. They teach me things that I did not learn in college......compassion, integrity, humility, and love."
Mrs. Osborne's family consists of her husband of 42 years, 2 children, and 2 grandchildren. She enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and visiting Disney "one too Minnie times"! 😉
Cedar Ridge is proud to have someone like Mrs. Osborne.
