The Sr. High teams started their basketball season last Friday night at home against the Calico Rock Pirates. The Sr. Boys played first after the High School's Homecoming Ceremony, and ended the game with an impressive score of 71-30. Senior Matt Hendrix led the team with 17 points, followed by Junior Kyle Provence with 13 points, Junior Easton Griffin with 11 points, and Senior Caden Griffin with 10 points.
The Sr. Lady Timberwolves played a fast-paced game and ended with a victory of 62-52 against the Lady Pirates. Sophomore Emilee Pankey led with 23 points, followed by Senior Allie Pankey with 17 points, and Senior Klara Gooch with 14 points.
The Timberwolves have a busy week ahead, traveling to Hillcrest on Monday, playing Midland at home on Tuesday, and traveling to Tuckerman on Thursday.
