3rd grade EAST students got the opportunity to visit with Dr. Bork and Emilee from the art department at Lyon College about their upcoming project.
They had a vision to create an outdoor sensory path to assist students with gross motor skills on their playground. The 2 artists listened to their wants and came back with a plan. The 3rd grade EAST students have incorporated letters, numbers, and a bit of school spirit in the path. Emilee and Lizzy are mural painters. They are very talented art students that have painted many murals around Batesville.
The students can’t wait to get started this summer. Painting will begin after June 9.
