Yesterday, 8th grade students traveled to the Arkansas State Capitol building in Little Rock. Earlier in their Social Studies classes this semester, they learned about government foundations and how the government works, so this was a great opportunity for them to see our state government in action.
They took a tour of the building, met with State Senator John Payton and State Representative Shad Pearce, and even got to take a picture with Governor Sanders.
